I think chapter 12 was a good chapter because Lavender puts a newtb in Miss. Trunchbull's water. She has to get water because she volunteered to. My favorite part is when Lavender gets a newt from her pond and puts it in the water. Ithink it was a good chapter.
Its a really funny chapter. Lavender (Matildas friend) is supost to get the Trunchbull (who comes on thursdays and nobody likes) water so the day before the day the Trunchbull comes she gets a newt from her back yard. When Thusday comes Lavender gets water and puts the newt in the water and goes out to play.
I relly liked chapter 12,Lavender it was a relly good chapter. I especially liked when Lavender put a lizzard in Miss. Trunchbulls water jug that part was halarrios. I would relly like to see what happens next! So far chapter 12 is the best yet.

I like Matilda chapter twelve.It had alot about the Trunchbull in it.A boy named Bruce Bogtrotter stole some of the Trunchbulls cake. I wonder why he did that?I guess he was really hungry.I would never do that. Then the Trunchbull caught him and made him eat a entire cake!everyone espected the cake to blow up any minute! It didnt though. I wonder why the Trunchbull didnt put explosives in it?I guess she didnt really want to kill him.It would get rid of him though. Well he actually made it through the entire cake!So the Trunchbull got mad and hit him with the plate, but after that a sludge hammer wouldnt hurt him.So the Trunchbull left. I wonder why the Trunchbull didnt stay and give him another punishment since he made it through the first? Mabey she didnt have one planned.I would have a back up plan though, well mabey.

The next day Lavender was getting Miss.Trunchbull's water ready, nobody was in the classroom. Lavender put the newt in Miss.Trunchbull's water.

She drank the water and the lizard went into her mouth. I thought this chapter was really funny.

So Lavender goes to a pond, thinking about Hortensia and gets a Newt[it's a kind of lizard.] So she gets the Trunchbulls jug and gets her pencil box and pours the Newt in the jug and then she sits down and waits for the lesson to start. Do you think the Truchbull will find out about Lavender?

I thought Matilda chapter 12 was funny yet kind of boring. In this chapter Miss Honey anounces that "the Trunchbull" is coming to teach their class on Thursday afternoon. Lavender is in charge of getting water for "the Trunchbull". She decides to pull a prank on "the Trunchbull" and chatches a newt out of her pond. Then, on Thursday afternoon, she dumpts the newt in "the Trunchbull's" water.
Chapter twelve is about Lavender. In this chapter Ms.Honey tells the class that Mrs.Trunchbull will be teaching once every week. Lavender wants to prank Mrs.Trunchbull but at first dosent know what to do. Then she gets the idea to put a Newt in Mrs.Trunchbulls Jug.
Matilda chapter 12 wasn't the greatest chapter. I have to say that it was pretty good though . Lavender wasn't the smartest for doing that because it made the head Mistress really mad at Matilda . So if I was lavender I would start working on my apoligy, because I think Lavender wants Matilda to be her friend.

ReplyDeleteI agree with Morgan's post she put for chapter 12 and it was a little boring and how she put her opinion about the chapter and she wrote it in order too which makes it even better ,I think but maybe other people don't.

I disagree with morgen,she said that it was kinda boring. I thought it was realy fun and funny. I thought lavender was realy sneaky and it was realy like your nervis if lavender gets cought and gets put in the choky. Then ur so ready to find out what happens next. Its like a mistury. Not much of these chapters have misturys like this one.

ReplyDeleteI agree with Cade , it is a good chapter. I think the best part is when Lavender puts a newt in the Trunchbulls water jug. also Cade spelled newt wrong (he spelled it this way Newtb its newt). :)
